A Halloween Story

It had been a long year.  Two exhausted farmers had put everything they had into growing two little beautiful flowers.  It was tiring work and sometimes the flowers weren't very happy.

An amazing Dance Barbie would work her magic on them, make them laugh, and be there to pick them up, even if they didn't particularly feel like being picked.

She did a very good job keeping them safe, that is, until a very sneaky ninja appeared and made the baby flowers disappear.

Oh no!  What to do... the Dance Barbie who happened to a have a little Dance Barbie sidekick, decided this might be a good time to do a dance.  She shimmied, she twirled, she did all she could to show the sneaky ninja she was not intimidated by his stealth.  She would win back her flowers.

So, the ninja decided to do some dance moves of his own.  Hi ya!  You can just see the amazing turn kick now...

The amazing Dance Barbie was so impressed by his killer moves, that she asked him if they could join forces and help the gardeners- rather than pick and steal their precious flowers.  The black ninja agreed.  She smiled, she danced again.  She had saved the day- maybe Dance Barbie is really a superhero.

The gardener goes to check on his flowers and yes, the Ninja and Dance Barbie have helped him to pick one, now where is the other one?

Found her!  Here are the gardeners so happy to have their cute flowers safe and sound.  Now where are their rescuers to receive their thanks?  Off to sneakily and twirlingly save the world.  :)

THE END

Ha ha... I know I am a bit of a dork.  But the kids helped so I can't solely be blamed.  We had a fun Halloween watching Jackson do a costume parade at school, saying hi at Qualtrics, and then going to our ward's Trunk or Treat.  Jackson went to each trunk at least three times and was running around like any gleeful six year old should.  Hallie saw a scary or costume or two and decided she had HAD it and spent the rest of the evening in the back of the car with me.  Our flowers sat in the flowerpot and tried to chew through any candy they could get their hands on.  They were fascinated by the festivities, and came home completely tired.  Stu and I had fun visiting with people and letting the kids pass out candy once we got home.  It was a fun day!
