When cousins get together...

It was so fun having family in town for Thanksgiving.  I had baby-holders in abundance, and somehow found time to get on top of some laundry.  We had a typical roasted turkey, and then a smoked turkey courtesy of Stuart.  All of us involved, it made for one lovely meal.  I sure love my mom and sisters, and Grandma Carter with her rolls and stuffing, for the way they make a big meal like that seem easy and doable.  I have a great family to be grateful for!

So, my ever crafty sister Lindsey came out early and helped me bust out baby headbands, make a bunch of freezer meals, and then gave my girls the cutest ruffle skirts that of course she made herself!  I love them and even better, she had made matching ones for her girls as well.  Sounds like a photo opportunity, yes?  You betcha.

I love the smug little look on Hallie's face.  These are some cute cousins: Danielle, Hallie, Madison, Jackson, Lucy, and Daphne.

Silly poses from the big kids.

Exhibit A:  This is why we get nervous about Hallie with the babies.  Sometimes her squeezes HURT.

Poor Danielle was so done taking pictures at this point.  Jack couldn't help but show some sympathy.  No one likes a frowny face... remember that. :)

I loved seeing the cousins play and run circles around the house... we only wish we could do it more.
It was especially fun to see 3 cute baby girls together.  It sure made for a fun week!
